Short Bio

Raised in a creative family. Undergrad at Herron School of Art, earning a BFA degree from San Francisco Art Institute. Photo skills honed at Berkeley City College. Resides in SF Bay Area.

Statement

I am an interdisciplinary artist working across painting, drawing, intaglio, and photography platforms of expression. I explore light and shadow with a preference of natural light. I prefer working with a limited palette, layered with rich textured shadows, mid-tones, and highlights. I create melancholy and pensive pieces that explore and emote my inner world. I hope leave a similar place where the viewer is compelled to reflect and experience each piece on their own personal terms. Whether my subject matter is figurative, architectural, or nature I feel each piece shares an ephemeral moment captured for contemplation.
